          My name is Bennett Patterson, and I am a senior at the University of Southern California, studying Communications and Cinematic Arts with an emphasis on video production and post-production. Before moving to Los Angeles for USC, I grew up in downtown Chicago—an experience that strongly shaped my creative perspective and professional interests.

          I strive to approach both life and work with optimism, kindness, and discipline. In professional settings, I am highly motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking on leadership roles within collaborative teams.

          My goal is to build a full-time career in the entertainment industry, particularly within sports media and production. I thrive in fast-paced, creative environments and am deeply drawn to the storytelling power of editing. My interest in post-production has expanded into cinematography and broader film production, where I continue to develop my craft.

          I have hands-on experience in video production, editing, videography, marketing, and social media management through leadership roles and internships. Most notably, I served as a Digital Video Intern with FOX Sports, where I gained valuable insight into producing high-level content for a leading media organization and further solidified my passion for the industry.
